Welcome to GeoAlert. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the GeoAlert mobile application (the “App”). By downloading, accessing, or using GeoAlert, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. About GeoAlert

GeoAlert is a location-based reminder app that notifies you when you arrive at places you choose. The App relies on device permissions (such as location and notifications) to function properly.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 15 years old to use GeoAlert.
By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Your Use of the App

You agree to use GeoAlert only for lawful, personal purposes. You may not:

• Use the App in a way that violates any law or regulation

• Use GeoAlert to track people without their knowledge or consent
• Misuse location services in a way that infringes on others’ privacy

4. Location Services & Permissions

GeoAlert requires location access to deliver reminders.

• Location data is used only to trigger reminders you create
• You control when location access is enabled or disabled
• If location permissions are turned off, some features may not work

GeoAlert is not responsible for missed reminders due to disabled permissions, device settings, or operating system limitations.

5. Notifications

By enabling notifications, you agree to receive alerts related to your reminders.
You may disable notifications at any time through your device settings.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you create in the App (such as reminder text).
By using GeoAlert, you grant us permission to store and process this content solely to provide the App’s functionality.

7. Data & Privacy

Your use of GeoAlert is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use information, including location data.
Please review it carefully.

8. Disclaimer

GeoAlert is provided “as is” and “as available.”

• We do not guarantee that reminders will always trigger at the exact moment
• We are not responsible for missed tasks, losses, or damages resulting from reliance on the App
• Location accuracy depends on your device, operating system, and environment

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GeoAlert and its developers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to GeoAlert at any time if these Terms are violated.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally.
If changes are made, the updated version will be posted in the App with a revised “Last updated” date.

Continued use of GeoAlert after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
